All About Brake Rotors

All About Brake Rotors

With a powerful high-performing rotor, your braking system ensures safety and meets the performance standards. Here are the details of some of the powerful brake rotors rolling in the market.
Power Slot Brake Rotors

The Power Slot Brake Rotors are characterized by the highest tolerance. The slots used in these rotors promise a better structural integrity than those available with the drills. These slots offer high resistance to brake fades and allow the hot gases to escape.

Baer DecelaRotors

Baer is known for its variety products. They offer tailor-made rotor systems that suit all varied applications. The important features of these DecelaRotors are their superior bite equalized pad wear, counter-rotational drilling and slotting, and consistent wet weather performance.

OEM Brake Rotors

OEM Brake Rotors come in various categories – Slotted Brake Rotor, Cross Drilled Brake Rotor, Performance Rotors and OEM Replacement Rotors.

Brembo Sport slotted brake motors are made similar to the vehicle’s original rotors and are compatible with its hubs, brake calipers and road wheels. These brake rotors thus allow the user to improve their original rotors without changing their additional brake components. They are available with both front and rear slotting to add a uniform appearance on all four corners of the vehicle.
Cross drilled brake rotors offer resistance to brake fades and also enhances rotor cooling. The extent to which the temperature can be lowered in these rotors is very high, almost by 200 degrees in the harsh braking situations. The cross-drilled holes reduce the cracking caused by the intense braking. Brembo Sport cross-drilled rotors are sold in axle pairs.

Performance Brake Rotors are ideal for cars, trucks, vans, SUVs, or such vehicles that utilize the braking capacity to the maximum almost regularly. The Performance Brake Rotors ensures longevity both in terms of its surface life and its ability to dissipate heat during harsh braking. If you are thinking of an adventurous hilly trip, better opt for the Performance Brake Rotors and be safe and satisfied throughout the journey.

Brembo Rotors

These rotors also ensure the original equipment quality. Available from direct OE replacement to all the high performance and racing applications, Brembo Rotors are the most demanded rotors, especially by professionals who run driving schools, organizers of the track days and solo events, etc. Brembo Rotors are available for more than 1000 applications and are offered for a cheaper price. With such features, Brembo has been able to sustain its market value and thus conquer the car markets in Europe, the USA and Japan.

  1. [...] Mostly because of my sons, I’ve also begun to read up on high performance equipment for my car. My sons want me to look into a nitrous oxide system for my car but I’m just not sure I can handle that much additional speed. I’m going to do more research and keep reading the 2FastLane Blog for product reviews and tips. And I’ll definitely check out their article on brake rotors since my husband mentioned needing those replaced soon on one of our other cars. [...]
