Audi TT Type 8J to get LSD door fittings
The new LSD door fittings will ensure a Lambo Style look to the achiever Audi TT Type 8J. The special hinges to mount these doors are made by LSD Doors, a German company known for these special doors. These LSD doors are not a fancy; they have been effectively tested by the German manufacturers on many other models such as BMW, Honda, Porsche, Hummer, etc. These hinges meet all safety standards and have obtained a German TUV certificate for ensuring the safe ride.
The LSD hinges are fitted on the cars without making many modifications to the existing structure. There is a pair of side spoilers at the bottom of the front bumper. The chromed edges of the front grill act as air vents to the cooler, and there is a diffuser on the rear bumper that is provided with rounded exhaust tips. The installation of the LSD doors is very simple and does not require a repainting or welding.
The LSD vertical opening has an aperture of about 30°. The LSD doors are tested safe by the company in the Kraftfahrtbundesamt laboratory where a side-crash test was conducted. Apart from these safety measures taken by the company, it also guarantees safety as per the rules 96/27/EG.
