Performance Teknique ICBM-Monster

The hills are alive with the sound of music……..hmmm. That’s a really great song. But you know what? In addition to being a great song, it also stands true. 100% true. Anyone who understands music will vouch for that. If you are not someone who can live on music, you’d rather stop reading now because this article is meant for those car lovers who also moonlight as music lovers.

The high that you get when you are one with your car and your favorite singer is speaking to you, only to you, is something unique and totally natural. For those of you who want this desperately, there is something that you can do to heighten the pleasure.

Before you get any fancy ideas, this is strictly music related. We are talking about AMPLIFIERS. Getting the right set will change the way your system streams out music. It totally cranks up your resolution and the clarity is pure heaven. We give you the star in this category.

The Performance Teknique ICBM-Monster is exactly that-a monster which will take you to St. Peter’s gate and back. It has a power of 6000 watts with a 24 db crossover slope. Its variable low pass filter between 35Hz-250 Hz increases the sound quality and its bass is totally amazing such that you can feel it in your pulse. With double sided PCB and RCA line output, this is one of the killers which you can get for yourself for $900-very well spent if you ask us.

Well go on, treat your ears to the joy of pure music. You owe them ;).

Jaguar Partners with Bowers & Wilkins - Love Marriage

Jaguar Partners with Bowers & Wilkins

Wait, hold on. This is not a matrimonial site. This is something to do with cars. Got your attention? Well, we lied :). This is not just something to do with cars, this is THE thing happening in the auto world right now. There is a marriage and this is one that you will love.

We are talking about the partnership established between Jaguar’s new C-XF Concept car and renowned legends of the music system field - Bowers and Wilkins.

Jaguar CX-F

Jaguar has always been known to provide excellent systems in its creations and this is no exception. This time around, they have taken an extra step and shaken hands with the masters themselves.

Dream sound for a dream car. In the automotive industry, events don’t get much bigger than the unveiling of a new Jaguar. Every gear change, every contour, every sight and every sound comes under relentless scrutiny. Hence the call from Jaguar to the engineers at B&W.

Bowers and Wilkins have worked hard on this collaboration and maintain that the system created for cars is different because of the space restrictions and user proximity. Their special creation has a bass beam low-frequency driver technology (sounds really impressive right?), mid range cone speakers and micro speaker panels. For the novice, this means great sound quality, excellent clarity and minimal sound irritation. It also keeps in mind the rear passengers and for them, has directivity arrays. The tweeter is also enhanced and worked on to create pure joy.

Dispersion drivers, rear deck panels, and noise deflectors - this system has it all and is made to order.

Well, guess they who say “marriages are made in heaven” do know it all because this alliance sure creates heaven - both for them and us.

Mitsubishi's LCD CM-7200

This is a must-have gadget if you are a “pimp my ride” fan :) and if you like to play Wii or PS2 in your vehicle

Mitsubishi is taking the rear-view mirror into the 21st century, with its new CM-7200 7-inch screen. The screen displays the rear-mounted camera in your truck, which according to Mitsubishi’s press release, have been available in Japan since 1970. The CM-7200 ships on November 1 for Â¥65,100 ($553) — even at that somewhat elevated price, we’re willing to bet that before the end of the year someone will figure out how to hook up a computer, DVD player, or console to the monitor.
